This year, the Routes to Roots Film Festival is planning a street event called the “Norfolk Popcorn Party” as a fundraiser for R2RFF.
Norfolk County is Canada’s leading grower of popping corn.
We have an eager, passionate group of core volunteers – but we need more! There are many things that may be planned for a Popcorn Fest:
- Art & sculpture contest
- Popcorn seasoning taste testing & recipe contest
- Kids’ activities & games
- Street entertainment (buskers, magicians, etc.)
- Food & drink
