Update for 2021…Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, organizers decided to continue with last year’s changes to festival and focus on filmmakers with a connection to Norfolk County, partnering with the TIFF Film Series screenings at The Strand, while promoting community partnerships. All films will be shown at the Strand Theatre, Robinson Street, Simcoe, ON.
Coming up October 23rd and 24th 2021, local filmmakers Chris Atkins and Mike Fletcher will discuss their recent diving project (Turks and Caicos) which aired on the History Channel. In addition, Dave Cole and Stew Craven will premiere their short film ‘Passage’. Movie-goers will also learn about the Haldimand-Norfolk Literacy Council/Norfolk Adult Learning Centre and its programming.
Afterwards, the feature film will be ‘PIG’ starring Nicolas Cage. Showtimes on both days is 4:45pm. Advance registration is required along with ID and proof of vaccination. Email jcarroll@kwic.com to register.
