ALBERT SHIN, director of In Her Place, will attend the Routes to Roots Film Festival when his film opens the two-day event on October 20, 2017, in downtown Simcoe, Norfolk County.
Shin is a second-generation Korean-Canadian. He decided to return to the country of his parents’ birth to explore the possibility of making a Korean-language film. After many years of writing and research, In Her Place was shot on location in South Korea and finished in Canada in 2014.
